GOSHEN — Aileac Deegan, executive director of Ryan’s Place in Goshen, was recently nominated and selected for the 2013 Executive Journey Fellowship by the Lilly Endowment.

The fellowship is a series of residential retreats designed to help youth professionals create new ways of thinking about and working with youth programs throughout the state. The program also helps strengthen professionals as leaders in youth service and provides them greater opportunities.

Deegan was one of 27 youth professionals to be selected for this year’s fellowship. The Executive Journey Fellowship has served more than 500 prospective and current youth workers since it began in 2003.
