Goshen man arrested, suspected of starting house fire

GOSHEN — The resident of an apartment that was on fire this morning, Jan. 9, was arrested after investigators from the Goshen Fire Department determined the fire was set intentionally.

Trever Bouck, 24, of 117 S. Seventh St. was arrested for arson and was booked in the Elkhart County Jail.

A woman, Lindsay Baker, was taken to IU Health Goshen Hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.

The fire department was called around 8:30 a.m. to the house. The fire was under control about 20 minutes after the call.
