Danny Mason, 22, 401 Middlebury St., Goshen, pleaded guilty to the three counts and will be sentenced to 35 years in prison, with eight years suspended and on probation.
Mason admitted he broke into a private property to manufacture methamphetamine on March 9, 2012. He also admitted he performed a reckless act that could have caused bodily injury to another individual.
Mason was in a vehicle March 5, 2012, with Michael S. Smith, who drove to the residence of a woman and shot once in her and two other people’s direction before driving off. Mason had handed a handgun to Smith, who shot in the direction of the victims.
Smith pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon and criminal recklessness. He was sentenced Sept. 5, 2012, to 12 years in prison.
Judge Terry Shewmaker accepted Mason’s plea and scheduled his sentencing hearing for Jan. 31.
