FORT WAYNE — Wanda June Ray, 88, formerly of Elkhart, passed away unexpectedly at home, Friday, Dec. 28, 2012.

She was born June 24, 1924,, in Indianapolis, to Carl Finch and Ferol (Adams) Finch.

She married Lloyd J. Ray on May 2, 1941. They were married 64 years, until his death on July 14, 2005.

She is survived by her four children, Ron (Mable), Dixie and Mike Ray and Sally (Mark) Spurr. Also 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister, Nina Jones.

The Rays managed several mobile home communities, including Countryside Village in Fort Wayne.

She had many hobbies, including sewing, crafts, flowers,and raising all kinds of animals at their log cabin home. Most of all, she loved her cats.

She will greatly missed by her loving family.

A service will be at a later date.
