Class teaches how to be an EMT
The course will cover basic anatomy and physiology, airway techniques, basic life support, pediatric care and trauma care. It will involve clinical hours in the hospital in addition to field internship hours riding on local paramedic ambulances.
The cost is $700 and includes textbook and materials. Space is limited; registration is required. A $200 deposit will ensure placement.
