GOSHEN — Garry Lamar Rink, 68, of Goshen, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at home.

He was born April 30, 1944 to Harvey and Mary Jane (Stetler) Rink in Goshen.

He married Colleen R. Rink on Jan. 4, 1974. She died May, 23, 1999.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Jane Rink of Goshen; sister Joyce (Darrell) Howell of Cassopolis, Mich.; girlfriend Jill Graff of South Bend; daughter Cammie Rink of Kendallville; one stepson; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father; brothers Ronald and Steven Rink; and one stepdaughter.

He was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran. He was honorably discharged in 1987.

Garry worked at Goshen Rubber for more than 20 years. He was a member of VFW Post 985 and American Legion Post 143. He loved the Chicago Cubs, Notre Dame, IU basketball and the Rolling Stones.

There is no visitation.

A graveside service is at a later date in New Paris Cemetery.
