They were married Dec. 18, 1982, at Oakwood Park on Lake Wawasee by the Rev. Stanley Hill. They honeymooned in Chicago.
The couple celebrated with their family and friends during the holidays and they are planning a trip in 2013.
Mr. Wirth is the general manager at Veada Industries in New Paris. Mrs. Wirth is the district science specialist for Elkhart Community Schools and an independent science education consultant and curriculum reviewer.
Their children are Danise Wirth of Goshen, Donald Jacob Wirth of Baltimore, Darlene Wirth of Goshen and Dean (Simone) Wirth of Osceola.
Their grandchildren are Braxton Kincaid, Carter Wirth and Ellyse Wirth.
