ELKHART — Brittany Mast and Grant Choler were married July 14, 2012, at Grace Lutheran Church by Pastor Tim Diemer.

The bride’s parents are Kurt and Pamela Mast of Elkhart. The groom’s parents are Rick and Linda Choler of Elkhart.

Chad Morgan of Elkhart was man of honor. Renee Choler, the groom’s sister-in-law of Elkhart, Katie Doncilovic of Edwardsburg, Mich., Kim Nielsen of Indianapolis and Christi Killelea of Elkhart were bridesmaids. Maddy Pittman, the bride’s cousin of Kouts, was flower girl.

Zach Whickcar of Bristol was best man. Nathan Choler, the groom’s brother of Elkhart and Phil Choler, the groom’s brother of Casper, Wyo., Drew Mast, the bride’s brother of Elkhart and Chris Choler, the groom’s cousin of Stow, Ohio, were groomsmen. Tommy Killelea of Elkhart was ring bearer.

Sam Woodworth and Brandon James Weatherwax, the bride’s cousin, both of Indianapolis, were ushers.

The pillow carried by the ring bearer was made from the wedding dresses of the bride’s grandmothers.

The reception was at the Matterhorn in Elkhart and the couple honeymooned in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

The couple met while teaching at West Side Middle School, where they shared their passion for education. The groom proposed during a picnic on the living room floor of his new house.
