BREMEN — Susan Heppler Harper, 61, of Bremen passed away at home at 5:53 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012, from the complications of metastatic breast cancer.

Sue was born in Cleveland on Jan. 30, 1951, and was adopted at birth by Alfred Joseph and Berniece Ward Heppler of Rocky River, Ohio.

She married Michael A. Harper on May 11, 1974. She finished a masters degree in library science at Indiana University.

A longtime member of Old Brethren Church, Wakarusa, she was associated with Victory Christian Fellowship, New Paris, at the time of her death.

Survivors include her husband; children Seth (Rachel) Harper of Bremen, Sarah (Timothy) Heatwole of Milford and Joshua (Bethanna) Harper of Bremen; and two grandsons.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at Old German Baptist Brethren meetinghouse, C.R. 40 and C.R. 7, Wakarusa.

Burial will be in the cemetery at Victory Christian Fellowship.
