GOSHEN — Beulah Mae Amsden, 74, died Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 26, 2012, at the home of her daughter, Penny.

She was born Aug. 2, 1938, to Malcolm and Grace (Hylton) Yates in Millard, Ky.

On May 29, 1958, she married Richard B. Amsden in Goshen. He died May 10, 1995.

She is survived by two daughters, Penny (Steve) Minnich and Sandy (Tim) Clark, both of Goshen; six grandchildren, Tabitha (Jason) Dunlap, Karri Minnich and Chris, Amanda, Jacob, and Makla Clark; and a great-grandson, Riley Dunlap.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a grandson, Michael Amsden; four brothers, Tommy, Bert, Clifford and Bill; and four sisters, Thelma, Ruby, June and Jean.

Beulah resided in Goshen since moving there in 1954 from Kentucky.

She worked for 27 years at Homecrest in the shipping and warranty departments.

She enjoyed going to the Michigan City Blue Chip Casino and traveling to Las Vegas every year.

Her grandchildren were a special part of her life.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today, Dec. 28, 2012, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, funeral service will be at the funeral home, with Pastor Jim Shrock of First Baptist Church, Goshen, officiating.

Burial will follow in West Goshen Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Salvation Army or the Alzheimer’s Association.
