The Goshen Hospital & Health Care Foundation recently awarded another $40,000 to IU Health Goshen Hospital for hospital equipment for direct patient care, palliative care and pastoral care support. In addition to more than $77,145 already granted in 2012, the foundation awarded another $45,000 to the following organizations on Dec. 19: $40,000 to IU Health Goshen Hospital for hospital equipment for direct patient care, palliative care and pastoral care support; and $5,000 to Ryan's Place for grief support services for children attending Goshen schools.
The foundation's mission continues to be to assist and support the programs and projects of IU Health Goshen Hospital and the communities it serves. The foundation expressed gratitude for the support of the traditional programs and projects of IU Health Goshen Hospital including hospice and home care, nursing education, Center for Cancer Care, the Retreat and many others from the 50 funds it holds to benefit health care in the community.
