GOSHEN — First Presbyterian Church is once again hosting a free Christmas dinner as a time for the community to eat, fellowship and celebrate the holiday.

For the 14th year, volunteers from the church and the Michiana area will serve the meal from 1 to 2 p.m. this afternoon. The church doors will open at 12:30 p.m. and at 1 p.m. guests will be seated and served a traditional Christmas meal. Carry-out meals are also an option.

More than 600 meals were served or delivered last year and this year, organizers expect to serve 600 to 725 people.

First Presbyterian’s pastors will be on hand for prayer and spiritual guidance during the event.

The meal does not require reservations.
