SAGINAW, Mich. — Isabelle Brown and Derek Sapikowski were married July 20, 2012, at Saginaw Valley State University Founders Hall by Tyler Jones.

The bride’s parents are Tom and Danielle Brown of Flint. The groom’s parents are Pat and Kathy Sapikowski of Elkhart, Ind.

Dominque Brown, the bride’s sister of Flint, was maid of honor. Sarah Cameron of Lansing, Chelsea VanRaemdonck of Flushing, Holly Lee of Kalamazoo and Kim Sapikowski, the groom’s sister of South Bend, Ind., were bridesmaids.

Josh Cow of Niles was the best man. Steve Messer of Flint, Jordan Wilcoxen of Houghton Lake, Eric Hutchinson of Midland and Mark La Freniere of Auburn Hills were groomsmen.

The couple left the church in a 1929 Ford that the groom and his father restored.

They reception was at Hellenic Center in Saginaw immediately following the ceremony.

The couple honeymooned in Eleuthera Island in the Bahamas and live in Saginaw.
