The couple married Dec. 14, 1952, at First Brethren Church in Elkhart.
The couple celebrated with a family dinner.
Mr. Fawley is retired from Conrail as a locomotive engineer. Mrs. Fawley is a dessert baker.
Their children are Norm Fawley of Portage, Kathy (Dave) Lipp of Elkhart, Patti (Mike) Strausborger of Osceola and Jim Fawley of Elkhart.
They have six grandchildren, Derek and Kevin Lipp, and Ryan, Gavin, Lauren and Paula Strausborger; and one stepgranddaughter, Kelly Lipp.
