The bride’s parents are Jim and Chris Stembel of Goshen. The groom’s parents are Eric Ownbey of Catlin, Ill., and Sue Ownbey of Danville, Ill.
Stephanie Stembel, the bride’s sister of Goshen, was maid of honor. Richelle Dick of Middlebury, Stephanie Flora of Nappanee, and Ada Pieper and Teresa Myers, both of Goshen, were bridesmaids. Selah Miller, the bride’s cousin of Goshen, was flower girl.
Rob Elder of Danville was best man. Andy Hensold and Scott Ellison, both of Danville, Ill., Joe Streeter, the bride’s cousin of Goshen, and Andy Myers of Goshen were groomsmen. Camden Pascual, the groom’s nephew of Danville, was ring bearer.
Jonathan Stembel, the bride’s brother of Goshen, Joshua Pascual, the groom’s brother-in-law of New Orleans, La., and David Ganger of Elkhart were ushers.
The bride and her father came down the aisle in horse and carriage and the bride and groom left in the carriage. The bride surprised the groom by recording herself singing “When I Say I Do” by Matthew West before walking down the aisle, and they wrote their own vows.
The reception followed the ceremony at That Pretty Place Bed and Breakfast. The couple honeymooned at a resort in Cozumel, Mexico. They live in Goshen.
