Perry Meridian still No. 1; wrestling ranking method changed
The poll now reflects the projected scoring at the IHSAA State Finals based on the IHSWCA individual rankings.
Perry Meridian, Merrillville and Yorktown are now in the top three spots of the Top 20. Because of the switch in ranking method, some schools ranked in the Dec. 2 poll have dropped out of the Top 20.
The 24-team IHSWCA Team State Duals (three eight-team classes) is Dec. 22 at Westfield High School. Memorial, Penn and Jimtown will be involved.
The IHSAA state tournament series is Jan. 26 for sectionals, Feb. 2 for regionals, Feb. 9 for semistates and Feb. 15-16 for state finals.
