ELKHART — Beginning today, Dec. 13, S.R. 19 in Elkhart will be subject to lane restrictions between Sunset Avenue and Modrell Boulevard.

Southbound S.R. 19 traffic will be restricted to one lane to accomodate one lane of northbound traffic. Arrowboards and barrels will be in place to direct traffic.

The restrictions are a result of emergency sewer repair work. The extent of the work is unknown at this time so the lane restrictions will be in place until further notice.

The city of Elkhart is handling the repair.
