St. Joe hits the glass to beat Memorial
The Indians (1-2) scored 46 interior points and 21 off rebounds in beating the Crimson Chargers 67-62 in a non-conference contest at North Side Gym.
St. Joseph, which outrebounded Memorial 38-25 overall and 20-6 in offensive caroms, led 31-19 at halftime.
Neither team shot the lights out. The Chargers (3-1) made 18 of 57 attempts from the floor while the Indians canned 24 of 68.
St. Joe got 18 points from Conner Edmonds, 14 from Mathew Monserez and 11 from Ryan Brown.
Markese McGuire (25 points) and Spenser Gilbert (13) paced Memorial.
