ELKHART — Police are seeking information about an armed robbery that occurred early Monday morning on the south side of the city.

At 2 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10, a person described as a black male wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, black baggy pants, black gloves and a white mask on his face entered Smith’s Fast Food Mart and gas station in the 30000 block of Old U.S. 33. He revealed a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded money from the register.

The suspect received an undetermined amount of cash before leaving the gas station.
