Police say death of burned man not likely suspicious
A body of a badly burned male was discovered at 58644 C.R. 111. Deputies responded at 11:13 a.m Monday.
Captain Jim Bradberry said at a press conference in the parking lot of Concord Mall that the Sheriff's Department is not treating the death as suspicious at this time. The man's identity has not been released because his family is not in the area.
The state fire marshal's office and the Elkhart County coroner's office are investigating the cause of the fire and the cause of death, respectively.
