Goshen man becomes DNR Conservation Officer
Nicholas R. Vander Molen graduated Friday, Dec. 7 as part of the 32nd Conservation Officers recruiting class.
The new officers went through five weeks of basic training, followed by 12 weeks of on-the-job field training with a veteran officer. They will now have to complete a 15-week course at the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy, after which they will report to assigned locations to complete a one-year probationary period.
Vander Molen has been assigned to Kosciusko County.
