NEW PARIS — Krista Morehouse and Tyler Runkle are engaged to be married June 8, 2013, at Maple Grove Church of the Brethren in New Paris.

Miss Morehouse is the daughter of Michael and Regina Morehouse of New Paris. She graduated from Fairfield High School in 2009 and is attending Purdue University, where she will graduate in May with a Bachelor of Science in agricultural communications and agricultural economics.

Mr. Runkle is the son of Troy and Tamara Runkle of Red Lion, Pa. He is a 2008 graduate of Red Lion High School and also graduated from Alvernia University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He is a third-grade teacher at Harrison Elementary School in Warsaw.
