Elkhart City employee injured in C.R. 6 accident

Herb Ulery, chief manager at the Elkhart Aviation Department, was taken to Elkhart General Hospital with pain to his neck by an Osolo Township ambulance.
The accident happened around 11 a.m. near the Elkhart Municipal Airport.
According to deputies from the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department on scene, Ulery was driving an airport vehicle east on C.R. 6 before he made a wide right turn onto C.R. 7. A car following hit the rear wheel on the right of Ulery’s car.
The driver of the second vehicle was not injured.
