Members of the Bethany Christian High School speech team won awards at the Fort Wayne Northrop High School Speech Tournament on Saturday.

Lena Yeakey, a sophomore, won fifth place in varsity international extemporaneous speaking, while Corey Hostetler, a sophomore, won sixth place in novice prose interpretation.

Rachel A. Schrock, a junior, placed eighth in varsity prose interpretation. The team will host an after-school tournament at Bethany Christian High School on Thursday.
