Pulmonology Associates, a member of the Elkhart General Medical Group, recently added to staff pulmonologist Edwin Annan, M.D. Dr. Annan received his medical degree from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana. He completed his internal medicine residency at Saint Barnabas Medicine Center in Livingston, N.J., and his pulmonary and critical care fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center, New York City. He is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, the American Thoracic Society and the Society of Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Annan is Board Certified in internal medicine and pulmonary disease. His expertise in respiratory conditions includes lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)/emphysema, asthma, interstitial lung diseases, pleural diseases, acute and chronic respiratory failure and other various lung infections.
