Feb. 23, 1913 - Dec. 1, 2012

GOSHEN — Genevieve Crabtree, 99, of Goshen and formerly of Thayer, went to be with the Lord at 12:25 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, at Courtyard Healthcare.

She was born Feb. 23, 1913, in Norris City, Ill., to William F. and Bessie Mae (Hensen) Bragg. She married Emerson R. Crabtree on March 29, 1941. He died Feb. 3, 1989.

Surviving are a daughter, Judy C. (Richard) Biro of Goshen; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband, parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Genevieve was a homemaker. She was a wonderful cook and a great seamstress and decorater. She loved her grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen, where services will follow at 11:30 a.m.

Burial will be in Violett Cemetery.
