SINGER ISLAND, Fla. — Kimberly Day and Ryan Kyle were married Oct. 20, 2012, on the beach at Ocean Reef Park in Singer Island by Jennifer Werby of Ideal Idos.

The bride is the daughter of Jennifer and Brett Thompson of Middlebury, Ind. The groom is the son of the late Trina Kyle.

Brittany Matteson of Rome, N.Y., was maid of honor. Cara Bolsinger of Rhinebeck, N.Y., was a bridesmaid. Will Allen of Rome was best man. Sam Pizarro of Chile was a groomsman.

The reception was at Johnny Long Boats on Singer Island. The couple are planning a cruise for summer 2013 for their honeymoon.

The bride and groom grew up as neighbors and were close to each others’ families. They reunited two and a half years ago and knew it was meant to be.
