GOSHEN — Amber Klein and Nick Sheppard are engaged to be married June 1, 2013, at the Old Bag Factory in Goshen.

Miss Klein is the daughter of Cathy Stamm and Ty Klein of Elkhart. She is a 2005 Elkhart Central graduate and a 2009 Ball State University graduate. She is studying at Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine and will graduate in May 2013. She will be working for Middlebury Animal Clinic next summer.

Mr. Sheppard is the son of Bridget DeJohn, Jim VanHuffel and Rick Sheppard. He graduated from Northwood High School in 2004 and is employed by Payless Supermarkets.
