Body Language Relaxation Spa offers Swedish (soft, long, kneading strokes), deep tissue (slow, deliberate strokes for painful, stiff “trouble” spots), foot, scalp, hot stone (warmed stones as acupressure points - used along with other massage techniques they transmit heat deep into the body), eye refresh and pre-natal massages. They offer rejuvenating relaxation sessions involving breathing techniques as well as brain exercises that enhances mental stimulation/drive, clarity, and focus by increasing the activity of neurotransmitters that aid in the production of stress-lowering cell communications. The renewal process prepares people for a massage and can be enjoyed after the completion of a massage experience, as well. Also, the spa is accepting referrals from physicians whose patients experience neck/spine trauma, hypertension, diabetes, arthritis, side-effects of cancer treatments and headaches. Anxiety/depression and some PTSDs (post-traumatic stress disorders) can also be relieved with relaxation therapies.
