NEW PARIS — Bill and Evelyn (Swinehart) Beer celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this month.

The couple married Nov. 25, 1962, at Goshen City Church of the Brethren.

Mr. Beer retired from Henschen Oil in Nappanee and Keystone in Goshen. Mrs. Beer is retired after 23 years of driving a school bus for Fairfield Comm. Schools and from Turtle Top in New Paris.

Their children are Jeff (Amy) Beer of Milford, Jodi (Tim) Hicks of Milford and Jade (Ray) Vira of New Paris.

Their grandchildren are Jessica, Treg and Liz Beer, Clayton Hicks, and Jaylen and Kendall Vera. They have two stepgrandchildren, Tyler and Michael Kicks of Vancouver, Canada.
