LAPORTE — Jennifer Ann Carlson and Steven Joseph Strantz were married on Sept. 15, 2012, at Briar Leaf Golf Course by the Rev. Marilyn Montgomery.

The bride’s parents are Trudy Carlson of Elkhart and the late Bruce Carlson. The groom’s parents are George and Theresa Strantz of South Bend.

The bride’s sister, Maria Carlson, was maid of honor. Peyton Strantz and Kylie Verstraete, nieces of the groom of South Bend, were junior bridesmaids. Ava Carlson, sister of the bride of South Bend, and Delaney Casini, niece of the groom of South Bend, were flower girls.

George Strantz II, brother of the groom of South Bend, was best man. George Strantz III, nephew of the groom of South Bend, and Zoie Verstraete, niece of the groom of South Bend, were ring bearers.

Christopher Verstraete and Dominic Casini, brothers-in-law of the groom of South Bend, were ushers of the ceremony.

The reception was held at Portofino Restaurant at Briar Leaf. The couple then honeymooned in Riviera Maya, Mexico. They live in South Bend.
