Miss Liegl is the daughter of Sharon and Pete Liegl of Elkhart, Ind. She graduated from Concord High School in 2000 and from Butler University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing. After Butler, she attended the Illinois Institute of Art in Chicago, where she graduated in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in fashion design. She is a member of the Chicago Junior League and Shedd Aquarium Auxiliary Board. She is the U.S. sales and brand manager for Esteban Paris.
Mr. Rees is the son of Mark and Bethany Rees and the late Paula Rees of Des Moines, Iowa. He graduated in 2004 from Walley High and attended Drake University, where he graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science with a major in business management and a Bachelor of Arts with a major in environmental policy. While at Drake, he was a member of the college’s football team. He moved to Chicago and received his master’s degree in 2011 from the Illinois Institute of Technology in environmental management. He is the fleet manager at J.B. Hunt.
