GOSHEN – Kathy Turco has been awarded the 2012 President’s Values Leadership Award and $3,000 from Indiana University Health. Turco, a registered nurse with IU Health Goshen, was one of 71 nurses in the 18-hospital system nominated for the honor. She was recognized for her dedication to the mission and its values in daily work, professional life and community contributions.
She plans to use her award money to help more youth attend Catholic HEART Workcamp in Mishawaka. Turco has served with IU Health Goshen for 29 years.
South Bend Airport
SOUTH BEND – Julie Curtis has been named director of marketing and development at South Bend Airport.
She will be responsible for development, coordination, implementation and maintenance of the airport’s broad-based marketing program.
Curtis most recently served as director of marketing for Downtown South Bend Inc. She has 15 years of experience in marketing, communications and event planning.
