Elkhart man to compete at duck calling championship

Thomas Kreuter, who placed first at this year’s Indiana State Duck Calling Contest, will compete against about 70 other contestants today, Nov. 24. Kreuter entered his first duck calling contest six years ago and has taken part in more than 15 competitions in Indiana, Michigan and Illinois.
The first place duck caller at today’s championship will win $8,000, a new boat, a championship ring and a trophy.
