Woodlawn Nature Center has two upcoming holiday events.

• Drop and Shop times are 7 to 11 p.m. Dec. 7 and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 8. Drop off the kids, ages toddler (potty-trained) to pre-teens at the nature center and take care of your Christmas shopping. The Girl Scouts will entertain the children. Cost is $8 per child at the door.

• Star of Wonder, an indoor star party featuring the stars of Christmas with an animated computerized presentation, will be at 2 p.m. Dec. 15, 7 p.m. Dec. 21 and 7 p.m. Dec. 23. The cost is $5 for adults, $3 for students and seniors, and children under the age of 5 are free. Members are also admitted free of charge.
