ELKHART — Dale Eugene Miller, 50, of Elkhart and formerly of Nappanee, died at 9:55 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at Woodland Manor in Elkhart.
He was born Nov. 29, 1961, to James W. and Charlene (Sechrist) Miller in Elkhart.
He is survived by his mother of Nappanee, his father of Zephyrhills, Fla.; children Jennifer (Mark) Baker of Goshen and Jason Miller of White Pigeon, Mich.; mother of Jennifer and Jason, Emma (Mullet) Garver; siblings Scott A. (Lelah) Miller of Goshen, Jefferson W. (Sherry) Miller of New Paris, Amber (Harley) Troyer of Danville and Dawn E. (Silas) Grossman of Wakarusa; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Rick L. Miller.
He was baptized into the Benton Mennonite Church.
Dale liked to work on vehicles while listening to Elvis.
He will be remembered for his smiles and good-natured personality. He was always happy and a people pleaser. He loved his children and family very much.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen. A lying in state is for half an hour prior to the 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, service at the funeral home. Pastor Mark Bendes of Yellow Creek Church of the Brethren will officiate.
Burial is in West Goshen Cemetery.
