Five arrested in Elkhart house on drug charges

ELKHART — Five people were arrested Wednesday night at an Elkhart house, two of whom were arrested on preliminary charges of dealing in methamphetamine.

The Elkhart Police Department arrived at 425 W. Franklin St. around 11:30 a.m. and arrested Bill Wooley, 47 for dealing in meth, possession of marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance. Police arrested John Nellist, 31, for possession of precursors, dealing in meth and visiting a common nuisance.

Also arrested were Brennen Camp, 19; Robert Gunnoe, 27; and Amanda Peffley, 30, for visiting a common nuisance.

The five were booked at the Elkhart County Jail without a bond.
