Two plea guilty to meth dealing charges
James agreed to a sentence of no more than 12 years in prison, serving for both charges consecutively. James was arrested Aug. 2 for dealing in meth by manufacturing.
James agreed to waive her right to be sentenced within 30 days due to medical conditions.
Coty James, 24, with whom Amanda James lived, was also arrested Aug. 2 for dealing in meth by manufacturing it. He pleaded guilty to dealing in meth, a Class B felony; maintaining a common nuisance, a Class D felony; and domestic battery, a Class A misdemeanor.
He agreed to a sentence of no more than 12 years in prison on the first two charges and a stipulated one year in prison consecutive to the other sentence for his domestic battery charge.
Coty James’s sentencing hearing was scheduled for Dec. 13.
