3 departments help douse Goshen barn fire

Barn destroyed
Firefighters from Jefferson Township, Elkhart Township and Concord were called to a barn fire at 60867 S.R. 15, north of Goshen Thursday night. No one was injured in the blaze but a pony that was in the barn died while a pig managed to escape. The three-story barn was completely destroyed by the fire, which, according to Jefferson Township Fire Chief Doug Weldy, took 30 to 40 minutes to get under control.
