MIDDLEBURY — Get a head start on Christmas shopping at Middlebury’s Hometown Holidays from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.

The Middlebury Community Public Library will host a Hometown Holidays art and craft fair with original artworks for sale, including pottery, jewelry, photography and paintings. A kids’ craft activity and live entertainment will also be part of the festivities.

Northridge High School’s Northern Lights will perform at Varns and Hoover. It and other retailers around town will offer discounts during the event.
