Elkhart Civic Theatre is holding auditions for its upcoming youth theatre musical, “Honk! Jr.,” on Saturday, Nov.17, at 9:30 a.m. and Sunday, Nov.18, at 3 p.m. at the Bristol Opera House. The all-youth musical, directed by Brock Butler, portrays Hans Christian Andersen’s classic story of The Ugly Duckling on stage. Young actors from 8 to 18 years old are encouraged to audition.

Auditioners will learn a portion of a song from the show and a short dance sequence, followed by readings from the script. They should bring a complete list of all conflicts from November 19 through February 10. A complete audition notice, along with character descriptions, can be found at www.elkhartcivictheatre.org. Performance dates are February 8, 9 and 10.
