Activist Ched Myers to speak at Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary

Biblical scholar and activist Ched Myers is set to speak at Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary at noon Thursday, Nov. 15.

Myers will speak on the topic “Our God is undocumented: Biblical faith and immigrant justice.”

The event will take place during the seminary’s lunchtime forum. A $6 meal will be served at 11:30, before Myers speaks. The first speech will be in the Lambright Center.

He will speak again at the afternoon session of the class Economic Justice and Christian Conscience. That presentation will take place in the Waltner Hall Wadsworth Room, where Myers will speak about “Capital and community: Ecology, economics and sustainability from a Gospel perspective.”

The speeches are free and open to the public. The seminary’s campus is at 3003 Benham Ave., Elkhart.
