Register now for annual Heritage Skills Workshop

GOSHEN — Registration is now open for the annual Heritage Skills Workshop, a heirloom needlework and heritage skills class hosted by the Elkhart County Extension Homemakers.

Both half-day and full-day classes will be offered from 8:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at the Elkhart County Purdue Extension Office at the Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds.

Offered classes include beginning knitting, intermediate knitting, needle tatting, hand embroidery, beginning crochet, paper cutting and a quilted table runner class. Fees vary depending on the workshop.

Registration forms with class details are at www.ag.purdue.edu/counties/elkhart and at the Extension office.

Classes are limited. Early registration is encouraged.
