ELKHART — Louise L. Pratt, 71, of Elkhart, passed away Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at her residence.

She was born April 27, 1941, in Coloma, Mich. to Reinhold C. and Lorriane L. (Totzke) Messal.

Survivors include a son, Mitchell Pratt of St. Joseph, Mich.; two brothers, Edward (Judy) Messal of Evansville and Richard Messal of Coloma; a granddaughter, Brittany (Joshua) Brumley of Clarksville, Tenn.; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Louise worked for Menards for several years, training new employees at various new store locations.

She enjoyed spending time knitting, crocheting and watching movies.

Cremation has taken place at Altera Cremation Services. A memorial service will be at a later date in Coloma.

Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St, Elkhart is in charge of the arrangements.
