Single-vehicle accident on U.S. 20 sends one to hospital

According to dispatch, the accident happened around 8:28 p.m. on the westbound lane of the St. Joseph Valley Parkway, east of S.R. 19. A car went off the road and into a ditch.
A person was transported to Elkhart General Hospital. Authorities were still working on the scene as of 9:15 a.m.
