Safe Family Travel campaign kicks off Wednesday

OSCEOLA — The Safe Family Travel campaign is kicking off from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14 at Wal-Mart at Ash Road and Old U.S. 20.

During the event, car seat technicians will be available to look at car seats. Bicycle patrol officers will also talk about bike safety and answer questions. The event kicks off the Safe Family Travel campaign, which is scheduled for Nov. 16 through Dec. 2. Officers will be concentrating on seatbelt and impaired driving enforcement.

The Elkhart County Traffic Safety Partnership joined with St. Joseph County for the campaign.
