MISHAWAKA – The Michiana chapter of APICS, the Association for Operations Management, will have a chapter plant tour at 5 p.m. Tuesday at AM General Commercial Assembly plant, 12900 McKinley Hwy. The cost is $15 for non-members, $10 for members and $5 for students. The tour is limited to 30 participants and registration is required. The speaker will be Don Reese, chief operating officer for Gurley-Leep Automotive Group. The program, which will be followed by a reception, is free and open to the public.
ELKHART – The IIA will host a Risk Assessment and Enterprise Risk Management seminar from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at the Matterhorn Conference Center, 2041 Cassopolis St. Two industry professionals will present on the process of planning, organizing and leading activities of an organization to minimize risk.
