Goshen High School in top 30 of Band of America competition

INDIANAPOLIS — The Goshen High School marching band is among the top 30 bands in the country, at least in one national competition.

The band performed this morning, Nov. 10, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis in the Bands of America Grand National Championships. In the competition were 90 bands from across the country.

“They had a terrific performance,” Goshen High School band director Tom Cox said. “I’m really proud of them.”

A semifinals awards ceremony will be at 5 p.m. when Goshen High School will find out whether its marching band will be named as one of competition’s the top 12 finalists.
