Final Goshen leaf collection begins Tuesday
Posted: 11/09/2012 at 1:15 am

The final leaf collection for the city of Goshen will begin at 7 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13.

Piles should be at the curb at that time to ensure homes are not missed as crews pass through neighborhoods.

Mayor Allan Kauffman is asking particular cooperation from landlords and tenants of rental properties, whose leaves may have been neglected during previous leaf collection dates.

Leaves are to be placed within five feet of the street on the lawn or on the sidewalk next to the curb, but must allow for as wide a walking path as possible.

The city also notes that leaf burning is not permitted in Goshen at any time.
