Pasquale Rulli appeared for his first hearing Wednesday morning in Superior Court 6.

Rulli’s plea of not guilty of failure to return to the scene of an accident which resulted in a serious bodily injury, a Class D felony, was entered by the judge.

Rulli is accused of striking 17-year-old Zion Carlstrom, who was riding her bike with her brother on C.R. 35 the night of July 10.

Rulli’s status hearing was set for Jan. 9 and his plea hearing is set for Feb. 13. He will be represented by a hired attorney, according to court documents.
